Product & Sales Planning Coordinator – Japanese Speaking

Location: Mississauga, ON (401×Erin Mills, near GO Transit)

Work Arrangement: Remote (initial on-site training required)

Type: Full-Time, 6-month contract with potential for permanent hire

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm

Pay: CA$33 per hour

About the Role

The Product & Sales Planning Coordinator contributes to the planning and coordination of sales activities, product availability, and operational reporting for the Canadian business. This role supports the flow of information and products across internal teams, overseas offices, and external partners to help ensure efficient operations and informed business decisions.

Working in a collaborative environment, the successful candidate will assist with data analysis, reporting, and coordination related to sales performance, product supply, and planning initiatives. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.

This position will begin as a 6-month contract starting in April, with the potential for permanent hire based on performance and business needs.



Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate with overseas offices, including Japan, to exchange operational information and support day-to-day coordination.
  • Liaise with international affiliates and local vendors regarding product availability, transfers, or locally sourced items.
  • Work with internal teams to help manage product supply and availability for the Canadian market.
  • Prepare and distribute regular sales updates and internal reports for relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with logistics partners such as carriers, customs brokers, and warehouse providers to support timely product deliveries.
  • Provide inventory status updates to sales teams to assist with sales activities and planning.
  • Assist with procurement activities involving local suppliers, U.S. vendors, or affiliated companies when required.
  • Review and analyze sales performance data and assist with sales planning activities.
  • Prepare and maintain reports and summaries related to sales performance, inventory levels, and operational planning activities.
  • Support the consolidation of operational data and preparation of reports for internal and overseas stakeholders.
  • Monitor inventory trends and collaborate with relevant teams to support appropriate stock levels.


Qualifications

  • Minimum 2–3 years of relevant work experience in sales planning, business planning, supply chain, or operations coordination.
  • Fluency in Japanese and English is required to communicate with headquarters and international teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Experience working with product-based businesses (manufacturing or distribution) is an asset.
  • Degree or diploma in Business Administration or a related field is an asset.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate across different teams.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
