Job Description
Our client is seeking a Japanese Bilingual Embedded Software Developer to join their growing global engineering team. This role focuses on next-generation Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) development, contributing to advanced in-vehicle systems in collaboration with cross-border teams.

Compensation: $80,000 – $110,000 (Base only, depending on experience)

Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software or embedded systems development
- Hands-on development experience with Flutter, Rust, or similar technologies (e.g., Java, React)
- Experience with C++ or C in embedded environments is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of front-end and back-end development concepts
- Automotive or in-vehicle system development experience preferred (navigation, infotainment, audio, etc.)
- Business-level or higher proficiency in both Japanese and English (written and spoken)
- Ability to work on-site at client locations as required
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to travel domestically as needed
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for automotive applications
- Participate in front-end and back-end SDV development projects
- Estimate development effort and deliver high-quality solutions within timelines
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and software defects
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams in Japan and North America
- Report to the Technical Director and contribute to cross-functional discussions
- Provide technical support and mentorship as the team continues to grow
