Salary: Up to $75,000 (DOE)

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Credit Analyst to support Business-to-Business credit operations across North America. This role plays a key part in evaluating credit risk, analyzing financial statements, and supporting well-informed lending decisions. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to collaborate across departments in a structured yet dynamic environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze customer creditworthiness through financial statements, credit reports, and scoring models
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis including cash flow, liquidity, leverage, and collateral coverage
  • Prepare clear, concise credit narratives and loan recommendations for management review
  • Assess risk factors and recommend appropriate loan structures or mitigation strategies
  • Review applications, tax returns, balance sheets, and third-party credit reports
  • Spread financial statements and evaluate multi-year trends using financial analysis tools
  • Create and manage applications within internal systems and prepare contracts via electronic signature platforms
  • Support enhancements to credit scoring tools and internal decision processes
  • Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures in all reporting and analysis
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members as needed
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with accounting, sales, and leadership teams

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance preferred
  • 4–8 years of experience in credit risk, underwriting, or financial analysis
  • Strong understanding of financial ratios and risk assessment
  • Experience with ERP/CRM systems such as Dynamics AX and Salesforce
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Knowledge of UCC-1/PPSA regulations preferred
  • Bilingual English/Spanish highly desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized, analytical, and self-motivated

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This role operates in an indoor office environment and requires extended periods of sitting and computer use, with occasional light lifting.
