A well-established international food manufacturing company is seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to lead general accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls.
This role oversees a small team and partners closely with Sales, Operations, and Corporate functions to ensure GAAP compliance, strong internal controls, accurate revenue recognition, and timely financial reporting.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and develop accounting staff (2+ reports)
- Oversee general accounting, A/R, A/P, credit, and cash management
- Ensure US GAAP compliance and strong internal controls
- Manage audits, tax reporting, and regulatory compliance
- Support budgeting, banking, and overseas subsidiaries
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Prior team management experience
- Strong US GAAP & financial reporting expertise
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Japanese/English bilingual strongly preferred
