Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to drive business growth within the manufacturing and automotive sectors. This role is responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and executing strategic sales initiatives to increase market presence and revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
- Conduct sales presentations and recommend tailored product and service solutions
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through closing
- Prepare proposals and contracts while effectively overcoming objections
- Analyze account potential and recommend strategic sales approaches
- Monitor competitive products and market trends
- Gather and relay customer feedback to support sales strategy development
- Provide weekly business reports to management outlining progress and strategy
- Continuously enhance product knowledge and professional expertise
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of sales experience in manufacturing or automotive industries (FA and/or Robotics are preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
- Experience working in multinational environments is highly preferred
- English at an idiomatic level is a must. Understanding in Japanese language or Japanese company culture is a plus
- Must be able to travel as needed
