Job Title: Sales Assistant

Location: San Jose / Hybrid Work (1-2 times office per week)

Employment Type: Part Time Hours: 20-30h/w

Pay: $26-31/h

Working Hours: core time 10am-3pm

Start: May or June


Our client is currently seeking a Sales Assistant for its office located in San Jose California. Our client has more than 30 years of experience providing Process Power products and technology for leading semiconductor and industrial customers around the world.

Our client is a small office focused on growth and market penetration. Growth is expected to continue for the next several years in existing as well as new market areas. Our client is seeking for a good candidate to ensure the operation is correctly sized, organized and flexible to sustain the anticipated growth along with being able to respond to market dynamics. This position will report to the supervisor.


Job Descriptions:

·       Work as a focal point between customers and internal different group, development, sales, and engineering support

·       Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships

·       Track project progress for the flawless execution, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals

·       Perform risk management to minimize project risks, and come up with a mitigation plan together with internal engineering team

·       Set the customer’s expectation right in terms of specs, cost, schedule, and quality, especially when the changes to the project scope are made

·       Work together with internal sales team in terms of forecast, pricing, estimate, processing POs, delivery status, etc.

·       Generate internal project status report as well as sales status to management periodically, and monitor the status against sales targets

·       Coordinate sales call with team members and other departments

·       Learn how products work and how to troubleshoot issues with customers

·       Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers

·       Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction

·       Continuously improve through customers’ and internal feedback


Qualifications:

·       Highly motivated to keep learning new technologies, new area of work

  • Excellent customer-facing and internal communication/negotiation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills

·       Prioritizing, time management, analytical, and organizational skills

·       BA/BS equivalent minimum

·       Japanese is a big plus
