Location: Downtown Toronto
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm (5 days in the office)
Compensation: CAN$70,000-80,000 depending on experience level

Position Summary
We are seeking a driven and hands-on Senior Sales Representative to support the continued growth of our Steel Department.
This role is ideal for someone currently working in inside sales, steel trading, purchasing, or supply chain coordination who is ready to expand into a more client-facing, strategic sales role.
You will be involved in the full business cycle — from account management and pricing strategy to logistics coordination and inventory planning — while building strong partnerships with customers across industries such as automotive, construction, and processing.
Regular visits to customer and supplier sites are required. A valid driver’s license is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
1. Account Management & Sales Operations
- Manage assigned customer accounts, handling inquiries, delivery issues, claims, and daily coordination
- Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and processors
- Support negotiations and collaborate with senior team members on pricing and supply arrangements
- Identify new business opportunities, applications, and product expansion within steel, stainless steel, and aluminum markets
- Visit client sites for relationship development, testing coordination, and issue resolution.
2. Business Planning & Market Analysis
- Support pricing strategies and mid- to long-term sales planning
- Prepare sales forecasts, market reports, and internal planning materials
- Analyze market trends, supply chain movements, and industry data to identify growth opportunities
- Contribute ideas to strengthen competitiveness and profitability
3. Product, Logistics & Inventory Coordination
- Understand material specifications, production schedules, and inventory positions
- Coordinate import/export logistics and delivery arrangements
- Resolve operational and delivery challenges in collaboration with internal teams
- Track contracts, inventory, and supply commitments
- Identify workflow improvements in sales administration and operations
Qualifications
- University degree
- 3–5 years of experience in steel sales, metal trading, purchasing, automotive materials, or supply chain management
- Steel / stainless steel / aluminum industry experience is required
- Strong communication and coordination skills across departments
- Proficiency in MS Office; SAP experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license
