  • Evaluate and implement equipment modifications to improve production efficiency, reliability, and performance
  • Design and develop 2D and 3D mechanical drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
  • Oversee fabrication of new and replacement parts (internal and external vendors)
  • Perform hands-on troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment and implement root cause countermeasures
  • Support production and maintenance teams with technical expertise
  • Drive Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Implement improvements using formal change processes (ECR/ECO)
  • Address ergonomic and safety-related concerns with practical engineering solutions
  • Support plant utilities systems (compressed air, chilled water, process water), including flow and demand calculations
  • Develop and update preventive maintenance procedures and schedules
  • Prepare and present technical reports, project proposals, and training materials

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 6–8 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing equipment troubleshooting and machine fabrication
  • 6–8 years of experience in equipment layout design and plant utility systems
  • Experience managing installations, contractor scope, and construction oversight
  • Strong project management skills with start-to-finish project leadership experience
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Strong analytical, statistical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills

Preferred:

  • Experience in powder handling or related process industries
