Logistics Coordinator — Japanese Company

Location: Cranbury, NJ (3-5 days/week), Midtown, Manhattan(1-2 days/week)

Hours: Mon–Fri, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM

Salary: $65–$85K (DOE)


Summary

The Logistics Coordinator provides hands-on, on-site support within 3PL warehouse operations to ensure accurate, efficient, and compliant inbound and outbound execution. This role serves as the operational link between warehouse teams and internal partners, with a strong focus on auditing, inventory accuracy, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.

This position requires consistent physical presence on the warehouse floor to monitor operations, resolve issues in real time, and ensure products are received and shipped accurately.


Key Responsibilities

3PL Operations Support

  • Support daily inbound, outbound, and e-commerce fulfillment activities on-site
  • Address operational issues in real time and assist during peak or high-volume periods

Shipment Auditing & Quality Control

  • Audit outbound shipments for accuracy in product, quantity, packaging, and labeling
  • Identify and resolve shipping errors before customer impact

Inventory & Inbound Support

  • Conduct physical counts, location audits, and cycle counts
  • Investigate discrepancies, damages, and shortages
  • Validate inbound shipments against ASNs and packing lists

Process Improvement & Communication

  • Identify operational gaps and support workflow improvements
  • Document and report inventory or shipment issues clearly and accurately
  • Partner with 3PL teams and Logistics leadership to drive corrective actions

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2–4 years of hands-on warehouse or 3PL experience
  • Experience with shipment audits and physical inventory counts
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and clear communication
