A Japanese industrial equipment manufacturer located in the Chicago area is seeking a B2B Marketing Specialist to strengthen its marketing capabilities and increase inbound inquiries within the industrial machinery sector, with a strong focus on web-based channels and new customer acquisition. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute web-based marketing strategies to promote the company’s industrial equipment and components.
  • Plan, create, and manage technical and promotional web content, including product pages, case studies, white papers, and blog posts.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and sales teams to develop compelling marketing materials that effectively communicate product value and technical advantages.
  • Analyze website traffic and campaign performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and marketing automation platforms; propose and implement data-driven improvements.
  • Drive lead generation initiatives through LinkedIn, email newsletters, trade shows, and other digital and offline channels.
  • Establish and track KPIs (e.g., number of inquiries, downloads, conversions) and prepare regular performance reports for management.

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably within industrial, manufacturing, or technical product sectors.
  • Experience in web content creation and technical writing (English required; Japanese preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of SEO principles and hands-on experience with Google Analytics.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with motors, robotics, control equipment, or other industrial automation products.
  • Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) and/or marketing automation tools.
  • Japanese language proficiency is a plus.
