Sales Representative – Architecture & Design community.
The luxury bathroom & kitchen fixture brand company now is seeking Sales Representative with connection in Architecture & Design community.
Must reside in the New York City metropolitan area (including New Jersey)

$85-110K base
Hybrid with travel flexibility to NY/NJ tristate area
MAJOR FUNCTION:
Analyzes information and makes daily in-person contact with architecture firms, design firms, developers, mechanical contractors, plumbing contractors, property managers, and building owners in the NYC (5 boroughs) and Northern New Jersey “Gold Coast” area.
Providing CEU’s and lunch & learns to the A&D community.
Uses their 7+ year’s decorative plumbing experience and 4+ years working in the territory described to promote products.
COMPETENCIES:
• Maintains regular in-person daily contact with specifiers of residential and commercial plumbing products concentrating on medium to large projects (not single family homes).
• Distributes announcements, sales bulletins, new product bulletins, and literature
• Maintains close relationships with Sales & NYC Gallery Teams.
• Introduces new product and presents updated information.
• Establishes new relationships with specifiers to gain sales and market penetration.
• Practices efficient and effective territory management of outside sales contact with firms and individuals in the specification market
• Develops and maintains accurate database of industry contact & updates them on new product offerings.
• Coordinates and fulfills requests for sample materials
• Works regional trade shows and exhibitions, ie: Greenbuild, AIA, ASPE
• Conducts product and industry trends training seminars with customers/specifiers
• Conducts Lunch & Learns and also is CEU certified.
• Develops close relationships with key mechanical contractors, builders, developers to drive specifications and secure business opportunities.
• Additional duties as assigned
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Maintain up-to-date information concerning industry contacts, market status, and sales opportunities via Salesforce daily/weekly along with monthly report and daily/weekly via a CRM.
• Delivers and distributes information and specification as requested
• Prepares necessary expense and sales reports on a timely (weekly) basis
• Overnight Travel as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
SPECIFICATIONS:
• 7+ years decorative plumbing experience with 4+ years living/working in the geographic are described above.
• Bachelor’s Degree or Similar Experience.
• Self-starter with excellent territory management & time management ability.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are a must.
• Must have excellent presentation skills.
• Must have proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
• Experienced in Lunch & Learns and CEU certified.
DIMENSIONS:
Serves as a liaison between our company and industry associations including ASID, AIA, USGBC, ASPE (and others), attending regular meetings and events.
Serves as a conduit between specifications and resulting orders to wholesalers.
Developers a solid working relationship with wholesalers.
RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS:
Works directly for Regional Sr. Sales Director, reports to NE1 A&D Manager, NYC Gallery Team, Territory Sales Representatives, Marketing Team. Reports to the Regional Sales Director under the guidance of the NE1 A&D Manager.
