Hourly Rate: $17~$21/hr
Reports To: Warehouse Manager
Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with receiving, inspecting, organizing, and verifying inventory in a fast-paced environment. Candidates who are bilingual in Japanese and English are highly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Order Accuracy (Double-Checking)
- Verify that items picked match the customer order.
- Return incorrect items to their designated location and place the correct ones on the pallet.
- Picking Support
- Assist with picking operations when no pallets are available for double-checking.
- Receiving Inspection
- Inspect pallets received as domestic shipments to ensure accuracy.
- Submit Bills of Lading (BL) to the office upon completion.
- Inventory Management
- Conduct inventory counts as needed, including refrigerated and frozen products.
- Monitor and report product expiration dates, especially for perishable goods.
- Returns Handling
- Check returned trucks for returned merchandise.
- Record and assess whether returned items are damaged.
- Damage Reporting
- Inspect damaged items and report the product names and quantities to the office.
- Warehouse Maintenance
- Keep the warehouse clean and well-organized.
- Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) is properly applied; rearrange stock as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or inventory experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift heavy items and work in refrigerated/frozen environments.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Japanese-English bilingual ability required.
- Valid driver’s license is a plus.
