A Japanese company in food industry is seeking a Sales Representative.
Location : New York, NY
Outside activities including travel: Around 50%
Salary $60K-$65K (DOE)+Bonus

Language: Japanese skills are preferred.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Sales Representative drives sales growth in the Western/Eastern region by developing new business, strengthening existing client relationships, and providing exceptional product and customer support. This role serves as a primary liaison between the company and customers through sales execution, product demonstrations, field support, and marketing engagement.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Sales & Business Development
- Identify, develop, and convert new sales opportunities.
- Maintain and grow existing client relationships to drive repeat business.
- Conduct onsite, showroom, and virtual product demonstrations.
- Manage sales pipeline using CRM and submit activity and sales reports.
- Prepare and process customer orders accurately.
Territory & Client Management
- Plan and execute sales travel within assigned territory.
- Maintain accurate client records, sales plans, and performance reports.
- Analyze territory performance and prioritize high-potential accounts.
- Provide hands-on customer support and product delivery as needed.
Marketing & Industry Engagement
- Represent the company at trade shows and industry events.
- Support regional marketing initiatives and provide market feedback.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity.
Technical & Product Support
- Provide post-sale technical training and issue resolution.
- Coordinate with technical teams and manufacturers for troubleshooting.
- Maintain strong product and technical knowledge.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of related sales experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Business-level English proficiency.
- Able to lift up to 95lbs.
