Import Agent – Air Freight
Location: Dallas, TX 75261 | Onsite
We are seeking a detail-oriented Import Agent (Air Freight) to manage air import operations at an onsite logistics office in Dallas, TX.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate air freight import shipments from origin to destination
- Prepare and review import documents (B/L, commercial invoices, packing lists)
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations and import requirements
- Communicate with airlines, customs brokers, and internal teams
- Track shipments, resolve issues, and provide customer updates
- Maintain accurate records in internal systems
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- GED or equivalent required
- 1–2 years of import/export experience (air freight preferred)
- Basic knowledge of customs regulations and import documentation
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; logistics software experience a plus
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Compensation & Work Style
- Hourly pay: $23–$26 (based on experience)
- Onsite position (no remote work)
- Full-time, Monday–Friday
