Temporary Expatriate Services Associate

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid – minimum 2 days onsite)

Employment Type: Temporary

Salary Range: $60,000 – $70,000 (annualized)

Overview

A global financial services organization is seeking a Temporary Expatriate Services Associate to support expatriate employees assigned to its New York office. This role focuses on immigration coordination, relocation support, and administrative operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support expatriate immigration and visa processes, including coordination with headquarters and external immigration counsel
  • Track visa documentation, timelines, renewals, and maintain accurate records
  • Assist with temporary and long-term housing arrangements for expatriates
  • Support onboarding and daily administration for expatriate employees (bank accounts, directories, internal records, organizational charts)
  • Assist with general departmental administrative tasks and internal reporting

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of relevant administrative, HR, or mobility-related experience preferred
  • Business-level proficiency in English and Japanese
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
