Customs House Brokerage (CHB) Manager

Job Type: Full-time | On-site

We’re seeking an experienced CHB Manager to lead import and customs brokerage operations, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and high-quality service delivery. This role oversees day-to-day brokerage execution, supervises teams, and partners with internal stakeholders to support customer and commercial initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily import and brokerage operations with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and cost efficiency
• Ensure compliance with CBP, FDA, USDA, and other regulatory requirements
• Lead, coach, and develop CHB supervisors and import staff
• Support audits, compliance training, and SOP adherence
• Partner with Sales and Branch leadership on customs solutions and RFPs
• Track KPIs and drive continuous operational improvements

Qualifications

• 5+ years in customs brokerage or international freight forwarding, including 4+ years in management
• Strong knowledge of CBP regulations and import compliance
• Customs Broker License preferred
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations including cargo handling and customs compliance.
• Experience with logistics systems (CargoWise, Kewill, Descartes)
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
