Project Professional
Our client is looking for a Japanese Bilingual Project Professional to manage and support equipment installation projects across the Midwest region.
This role is responsible for coordinating full-cycle equipment projects, including transportation, installation, leveling, piping, and on-site execution. The Project Professional works closely with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with specifications.
Key responsibilities include reviewing equipment layout drawings, coordinating local rigging crews and labor resources, scheduling and overseeing site work, preparing project reports, leading progress meetings, and tracking project issues through completion.
This position requires frequent travel across the Midwest, including but not limited to Chicago, Columbus, Indianapolis, and Cincinnati. On-site presence is required regularly depending on project demands, and travel frequency is relatively high.
Qualifications:
- Japanese language proficiency sufficient to smoothly conduct meetings, daily communication, and coordination with Japanese clients
- Business-level English proficiency required for day-to-day work and coordination with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience or knowledge in equipment installation, construction, or related fields is a plus
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in basic PC applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
The role involves regular interaction with Japanese customers, requiring strong cultural awareness, attention to detail, and a high level of ownership and responsibility.
