Salary: $45,000–$70,000 (DOE)

Position Overview

This is a hands-on quality role within a manufacturing environment. The team is ideally looking for someone with 5+ years of manufacturing quality experience, but will also consider a more junior candidate who has solid fundamentals, strong attention to detail, and the motivation to grow quickly. You’ll be a key partner to production—helping ensure product consistency, catching issues early, and supporting practical improvements on the floor.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform inspections during and after production to confirm wheels meet quality standards
• Monitor production output and identify defects, variation, or process concerns
• Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions to reduce repeat issues
• Maintain clear inspection records, reports, and quality documentation
• Work closely with production to improve consistency, reduce scrap, and strengthen process control
• Assist with audits, compliance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Communicate quality issues clearly and professionally across teams

Preferred Background

• Ideal: 5+ years in a manufacturing quality function (QC/QA)
• Also considered: 2–4 years with strong hands-on inspection experience and the ability to ramp up quickly
• Experience with Japanese manufacturers or suppliers is a plus
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
• Strong attention to detail, good judgment, and practical problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-focused environment
