Salary: $70,000–$90,000 (DOE)

Position Overview

This is a manager-level, successor-track role with a clear path into department leadership. It combines product management and marketing, anchored in retail, and involves close day-to-day partnership with teams in Japan. Ideal for someone who can set direction, and thrives in a collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary Product Manager, overseeing product planning, development, and improvements
• Conduct market, customer, and competitor analysis with a strong retail focus
• Define product concepts, requirements, and priorities
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and Japan headquarters on product initiatives
• Support marketing strategy, product positioning, and product launches
• Coordinate with sales and cross-functional teams to drive product success
• Gradually assume broader marketing and departmental leadership responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Experience in product management
• Mandatory experience in the retail industry
• Strong understanding of Japanese business culture
• Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills

Language Requirements

• Candidates must be able to read, write, and speak in English.
• Japanese language ability is not required, but cultural understanding is essential
