Salary: $68,000 – $72,000 annually (based on experience)
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Holidays: Weekends, U.S. federal holidays, and year-end holidays
■ Position Overview
A well-established Japanese food machinery manufacturer is seeking a Sales Representative to support its North American business.
The role offers a unique opportunity to promote Japanese food culture while engaging in end-to-end B2B sales activities, from customer acquisition to after-sales support.
■ Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email
- Visit prospective and existing customers to conduct sales promotions
- Prepare quotations and negotiate pricing with customers
- Demonstrate machines in the showroom or at customer sites
- Deliver machines and provide operation training upon installation
- Provide after-sales support and customer follow-up
- Attend internal sales meetings
- Prepare sales activity reports for management
- Prepare internal documents related to machine shipments
- Assist visitors at trade shows and exhibitions
- Support the technical team and other departments as needed
This position may require handling and transporting heavy equipment.
■ Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience
- Business-level English proficiency required; Japanese language skills are a strong plus
- Basic PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Willingness to travel approximately 20–25%
- Interest in Japanese culture, especially Japanese food
