Position: Senior Auditor – Japanese Bilingual

Status: Full-time, Exempt

Salary Range: $70,000 – $100,000/year (DOE) + Bonus

Summary of the Position

A Japanese-affiliated accounting firm is seeking a Senior Auditor to join their team. This position requires solid auditing experience and the ability to work independently as an immediate contributor. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in Japanese and English, have experience in an accounting firm, and be open to business travel as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform audits for primarily Japanese corporate clients.
• Prepare and review audit documentation and reports.
• Communicate effectively with clients in both Japanese and English.
• Work closely with the audit team to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Participate in client meetings, including on-site visits and business travel as needed.
• Provide additional support and duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Japanese language required (business-level English acceptable).
• 2+ years of experience in an accounting firm preferred.
• CPA license a plus.
• Strong auditing knowledge and ability to work independently.
• Willingness and ability to travel for client audits.
