Position Overview
A Japanese food manufacturing company is seeking a motivated Sales Associate to join our team. This role is responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relationships, driving sales of their products, and ensuring high-quality customer service within the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage customer relationships to maximize business opportunities.
- Travel to customer facilities to provide support, product information, and service.
- Achieve sales goals through proactive customer engagement and territory management.
- Communicate new product and service opportunities, customer needs, and market trends to internal teams.
- Collaborate with accounting, operations, and logistics teams to support sales objectives.
- Prepare timely reports and participate in quarterly inventory counts.
Qualifications
- Language skills: Proficiency in Japanese, Chinese, or Korean plus English.
- High School Diploma / GED required; college degree preferred.
- 1–2 years of sales experience in the Asian food industry preferred.
- Knowledge of Asian groceries and services.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office); willingness to learn ERP systems (Oracle).
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel.
