About the Opportunity

Our client, a well-established manufacturer of machining centers, is seeking a bilingual Sales & Technical Support Specialist to join their growing team in Cincinnati, OH. This role will involve supporting equipment sales and installation, facilitating communication between English- and Japanese-speaking teams, and providing interpretation and translation support for technical and business discussions.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and support the sale of machining centers to automotive and manufacturing clients
• Act as an interpreter and translator (Japanese ↔ English) during meetings, site visits, emails, and documentation
• Support installation projects and coordinate with engineers and customer teams
• Handle general office tasks including report preparation, email correspondence, and participation in conference calls
• Collaborate with cross-cultural teams locally and abroad
• Travel for business domestically and internationally as required

Preferred Qualifications

• Business-level fluency in Japanese and English (written and verbal)
• Experience in the automotive or industrial equipment sector
• Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills
• Ability to travel internationally (e.g., Japan, Mexico, Canada)
• Valid U.S. driver’s license
• Familiarity with Japanese business culture and work style
