Kindergarten Teacher

Position Summary

The Kindergarten Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment that supports young children’s academic, social, and emotional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons aligned with curriculum standards
• Support children’s development in literacy, numeracy, social skills, and motor skills
• Create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
• Observe and assess student progress and maintain accurate records
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student development
• Collaborate with other teachers and school staff
• Ensure classroom safety and follow school policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Teaching license/certification (as required by local regulations)
• Experience working with young children preferred
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching

Work Environment

• Classroom-based, working with children ages 4–6
• Requires standing, movement, and active engagement throughout the day
