Salary: $80,000 – $120,000/year (DOE)
Summary
The Market Development Manager identifies new business opportunities, analyzes markets, and develops strategies to grow revenue. This role works with cross-functional teams to launch new products, enter new markets, and improve overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitors.
- Develop strategies for new markets, segments, and product launches.
- Lead cross-functional teams to execute market plans.
- Build and manage relationships with distributors, retailers, and partners.
- Track performance (sales, market share, revenue) and propose improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 5–10 years of sales, marketing, or business development experience.
- Consumer goods or food & beverage experience preferred.
- Native-level English; Japanese or Asian language skills are a plus.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
