Seeking a Customer Service/Operations Specialist or Supervisor to handle international freight forwarding operations, shipment coordination, hazmat documentation, and regulatory compliance. Supervisor level includes SOP development, process improvement, and team leadership.
What You’ll Do
- Manage import/export and domestic freight operations
- Track and update shipment status
- Coordinate carriers, routes, and logistics
- Prepare hazmat documentation; ensure compliance (DOT, IATA, IMDG)
- Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal teams
- Negotiate costs with subcontractors
- (Supervisor) Lead SOP creation, efficiency projects & team training
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree
- Specialist: 2–3 yrs international freight forwarding experience
- Supervisor: 3–5+ yrs incl. leadership
- Knowledge of AES, ISF, IMO, hazmat regulations
- Strong communication & organizational skills
- MS Office or Google Workspace proficiency
- English required, Chinese a plus
