Account Manager & Business Development

Job Title: Sales Manager

Base Salary: $113k ~ $130k DOE

Industry: Semiconductor manufacturing equipment

Location: Santa Clara, CA

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent; or combination of education and experience.
• 7–10 years of related sales/account management experience.
• Strong skills in analysis, negotiation, planning, presentation, problem-solving, and time management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general office systems.
• Must be able to travel frequently by air and car.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs.
•  Japanese and English bilingual required.

Responsibilities:

• Achieve sales quotas by managing territory, developing new business, and maintaining existing accounts.
• Travel within assigned territory to meet with customers, attend trade shows, and pursue business opportunities.
• Research prospective customers and market conditions, prepare presentations, and support product positioning.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, including handling inquiries, complaints, and collections.
• Manage account orders: process purchase orders, confirm pricing and shipping schedules, and monitor inventory.
• Conduct competitor research and provide insights for product/service development.
• Ensure compliance with company policies while maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
