Japanese bilingual Teacher (After-School Program) Full-Time / Part-Time

Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Teacher to provide group lessons for elementary and middle school students in a structured after-school learning environment. All curricula, textbooks, and lesson plans are fully prepared, enabling instructors to focus on student learning rather than developing the material.

Responsibilities

• Teach one or more academic subjects: Math, Japanese, English, Science, or Social Studies
• Lead hybrid group classes (in-person + online livestream)
• Review homework, quizzes, and worksheets; provide feedback

Requirements

• Native-level (or equivalent) Japanese proficiency
• Valid U.S. work authorization (Green Card / Permanent Resident)
• Enjoys teaching children; reliable and professional
• Preferred: Prior teaching/tutoring experience; knowledge of Japanese entrance exam systems

Schedule

• Weekdays (Tue – Fri) 4 hours/day x 3 days/week

Compensation

• around $30 – 35/Hr (DOE)
