Summary:

The General Manager (GM) and Assistant General Manager (AGM) are responsible for overseeing the entire restaurant’s operations, ensuring excellent guest experiences, operational efficiency, and compliance with company policies. They supervise all front- and back-of-house activities and lead the management team.


Location: Downtown or Midtown

Salary: AGM $70k – 75K, GM: $75K – 80K


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations including opening/closing procedures.
  • Ensure high standards of customer service, guest satisfaction, and restaurant cleanliness.
  • Manage operational reports and communicate effectively with senior management.
  • Supervise and train staff, including hiring, evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
  • Oversee HR functions in coordination with the company’s HR department.
  • Manage labor costs, scheduling, and operational budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Handle customer complaints and ensure effective resolution.
  • Monitor food and supply inventory, cost control, and waste reduction.
  • Collaborate with management to improve operational efficiency and implement new policies.
  • Perform additional managerial or non-managerial duties as needed.
