We are seeking a Sales Assistant Manager to support import/export operations and serve as a key customer representative. This role manages daily sales administration, order coordination, logistics, and communication with customers and suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Support accounting and sales administration (A/R oversight, order approval, reporting).
- Develop and maintain customer relationships; assist with order acquisition and pricing.
- Coordinate the full order cycle from quotation to delivery and payment collection.
- Conduct basic market and product research.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and sales documents.
- Handle negotiations, contract preparation, and supplier coordination.
- Manage order entry, logistics scheduling, and shipping arrangements.
- Prepare import/export documents (invoice, packing list, B/L, CO, etc.).
- Support compliance, insurance, and risk management.
- Provide customer support and follow-up for quality or service issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 6–9 years of sales or customer service experience.
- Experience in import/export, logistics, or production control preferred.
- Strong communication skills; Japanese a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel intermediate+).
