A Japanese major real estate management company seeks a seasoned Japanese Bilingual Asset Manager at their Boston office.


Title: Asset Manager/Project Manager

Report to: President or Boston Office Manager

Salary Range: $100K – Up to $200K (DOE)


<Responsibilities>

1) Review and acquire new deal (30%)

  • Gather deal information from partners and brokers, income/expense analysis, due diligence, documentation, and financing policy review
  • Develop new partners

2) Manage existing deal (40%)

  • Manage Income/expense , PJT schedule, leasing projects, local partners, etc.
  • Plan and execute of sale *Currently, 15 properties are under management in 5 cities: NY, Boston, Washington DC, Dallas, and Florida.

3) Consideration of new asset types (10%)

  • Consider new asset types such as logistics, detached rental housing, residential land development, and residential condominiums

4) Support for head office business plan development (10%)

  • Support in formulating business policies and plans twice a year

5) Gather information on urban development projects, smart homes and other real estate technologies, and promote ESG, including carbon neutrality promotion (5%)

  • Gather information from partners and brokers, promote business in collaboration with head office

6) Administrative operations and miscellaneous (5%)

  • Assist the President in accounting, tax and general affairs.

<Qualification>

  • Bilingual in Japanese and English *Japanese must be at an expert-level
  • Relevant experience
  • VISA support and OPT support are also considered (with relevant prior experience)
  • Need flexibility on work hours and travel. (Regular meeting with the Japan team once a week, business trips as needed)
