Position Overview

A rapidly growing global technology company is seeking a high-impact, Japanese-English bilingual professional to help shape and accelerate its U.S. business.

Working closely with the CEO and executive leadership team, you will take ownership of strategic initiatives across go-to-market strategy, sales, marketing, and customer success. This is a highly visible opportunity for an MBA graduate who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to contribute as both a strategic thinker and hands-on operator.

From day one, you will be trusted to identify growth opportunities, lead cross-functional projects, and influence key business decisions. If you are ambitious, analytical, and excited by the opportunity to build and scale a business, this role offers exceptional exposure and career growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner directly with the CEO and executive leadership team to develop and execute U.S. growth strategies.
  • Lead high-priority initiatives across Marketing, Business Development, Pre-Sales, Field Sales, Product, and Customer Success.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, competitive developments, and business performance to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Translate business insights into clear recommendations and actionable plans.
  • Drive cross-functional projects from strategy through execution, ensuring alignment, accountability, and measurable results.
  • Develop and continuously refine go-to-market and customer engagement strategies.
  • Establish performance metrics and evaluate the effectiveness of strategic initiatives.
  • Navigate evolving priorities and take ownership of complex or undefined business challenges.
  • Serve as an important bridge between U.S. operations and Japanese stakeholders.
  • Contribute immediately as a key decision-maker while developing broader leadership responsibilities as the organization grows.

Required Qualifications

  • MBA required.
  • Three to five years of professional business experience prior to or following completion of the MBA.
  • Business-level fluency in both Japanese and English, including speaking, reading, and writing.
  • Authorization to work in the United States, such as U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, or valid STEM OPT authorization.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic-thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership and deliver results in a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong work ethic and comfort working through ambiguity and changing priorities.
  • Ability to balance high-level strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working for a startup or high-growth technology company.
  • Experience in strategy, management consulting, business operations, go-to-market planning, sales, marketing, or customer success.
  • Experience collaborating with executive leadership or managing cross-functional initiatives.
  • Familiarity with SaaS, manufacturing, or digital transformation is a plus.
  • Experience working across Japanese and U.S. business cultures.

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $100,000–$170,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • Performance-based bonus.
  • Significant opportunities for professional growth and expanded leadership responsibility.

Benefits

  • Comprehensive Healthcare: 100% company-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees and their families.
  • Retirement Plan: 401(k) with a 4% company match beginning on your first day.
  • Paid Time Off: 15 days of PTO, five sick days, and 10 company holidays annually.
  • Professional Development: Support for professional memberships, industry conferences, and ongoing learning.
  • Additional Benefits: Commuter or parking assistance and employee referral bonuses.
  • Collaborative Culture: Company lunches, team events, quarterly celebrations, and holiday gatherings.
