Location: Santa Clara, CA

Compensation: $100,000–$110,000 DOE

Employment Type: Full-time, Exempt; hybrid based on business needs

Position Summary

Manage and support the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, systems, hardware, software, security, and end-user technology. Japanese and English communication is required for coordination with headquarters and international teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain computers, mobile devices, phones, servers, networks, and security systems.
  • Troubleshoot system, network, software, and hardware issues.
  • Support file-server backup and data restoration.
  • Manage Microsoft 365/Azure AD access and administration.
  • Plan software/system installations, migrations, upgrades, and office setups.
  • Maintain IT assets, licenses, warranties, and equipment lifecycle.
  • Manage IT security policies, access controls, and employee security training.
  • Support internal controls, risk assessments, and SOX/internal audits.
  • Coordinate with vendors and global IT teams.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Japanese and English bilingual ability.
  • Server and network administration experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5–10 years of similar IT administration experience.
  • Windows and Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Strong hardware/software troubleshooting and systems administration skills.

Preferred:

  • VPN, firewall, switches, VLAN, DHCP, DNS, and static IP experience.
  • AD, Azure AD, Exchange, MDM, and Microsoft Intune.
  • CompTIA, CCNA, Microsoft, or similar IT certifications.

Other Details

Occasional travel, global-time-zone collaboration, and weekend work may be required
