Position: Administrative Coordinator (Part-Time)

Location: Torrance, CA

Employment Type: Part-Time

Schedule: 15–20 hours/week | Flexible schedule between 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Work Style: Primarily On-site | Hybrid could be an option after training period,

Pay: $23–$25/hour (DOE)

Our client, a growing Japanese company is looking for a Japanese-speaking Corporate Operations Coordinator to support its local office. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a flexible, long-term part-time position where you can use your Japanese and administrative experience. You’ll work closely with both the U.S. team and Japan headquarters while supporting a small, friendly office.

Key Responsibilities

Office & Administrative Support

  • Support daily office operations and general administration
  • Manage PCs, office equipment, mail, and important documents
  • Coordinate with Japan headquarters and local team members
  • Help organize and improve simple office procedures

Payroll & Expense Support

  • Collect and review employee timekeeping information
  • Assist with payroll preparation and data entry
  • Review employee expense reports

Invoice & Payment Support

  • Collect and review vendor invoices
  • Prepare payment information and documentation
  • Maintain organized payment and expense records

Qualifications

  • Expert level Japanese required
  • English reading and writing skills for business communication
  • 3+ years of administrative, back-office, sales support, or office operations experience preferred
  • Comfortable with computers and learning new systems
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
  • Comfortable supporting a small office and handling a variety of tasks
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
