Content Creator – Japanese Hand Tools

Position Summary

Our client is seeking a creative and hands-on Content Creator to produce engaging social media content for Japanese hand tools, including saws, knives, and garden tools.

The primary focus of this position is short-form video production and social media content for the U.S. market. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in content creation, social media, DIY, woodworking, or e-commerce.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, shoot, and edit short-form videos for social media.
• Create product photos and other visual content for social media and e-commerce.
• Develop engaging content ideas, captions, and on-screen text.
• Publish and manage content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook.
• Coordinate product outreach and content with influencers.
• Support other marketing and content-related projects as needed.

Work Breakdown: Approximately 30% photo/video shooting and 70% editing, content planning, and other computer-based work.

Qualifications

• Experience creating and editing short-form video.
• Portfolio of personally created video content is required.
• Comfortable independently handling video shoots using a camera or smartphone, lighting, tripod, and basic audio equipment.
• Experience with video editing software such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
• Strong English writing skills for social media content.
• Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Illustrator, or similar design tools.
• Interest in social media and digital content creation.
• U.S. work authorization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Interest or hands-on experience in woodworking, DIY, gardening, tools, or related areas.
• Shopify or other e-commerce experience.
• Japanese language skills are a plus.
