TEMP Part-time / Accounting & Administrative staff
Location: Santa Monica, CA
Work Style: Hybrid
Work Schedule: 15-20H/week, Flexible
Pay Rate: $22/hour
Our client is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting & Administrative staff to support our daily accounting and office operations. The role includes handling AP/AR, payroll, expense tracking, and general administrative duties.
• Handle vendor invoices, payment processing, and related communications.
• Create customer invoices and follow up on outstanding payments related to sales and business activities.
• Assist with bi-weekly payroll processing, including reviewing employee time records for accuracy.
• Maintain expense records, organize supporting documentation, and reconcile receipts.
• Compile sales and tax-related information and prepare supporting data for accounting reports.
• Provide administrative assistance with employee onboarding, personnel documentation, and other HR-related processes.
• Coordinate office supply purchases and monitor inventory levels.
• Maintain accurate accounting and administrative records.
• Provide additional administrative and operational assistance based on business needs.
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, office administration, or a similar role.
Technical Skills
• Experience with accounting or ERP systems such as QuickBooks, SAP, or comparable software is preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, particularly for organizing, reviewing, and analyzing financial data.
• Comfortable using Excel shortcuts, PivotTables, lookup functions such as VLOOKUP, and other commonly used formulas.
• Ability to understand and troubleshoot Excel formulas rather than relying solely on memorized functions.
