We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to lead the U.S. launch and expansion of an innovative healthcare coordination service connecting patients with high-quality medical treatment options overseas. This is a unique opportunity to build a new business from the ground up while working directly with executive leadership in a fast-paced startup environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in launching the service, driving business development, establishing strategic partnerships, and creating a seamless customer experience across both consumer and business channels.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional work experience in the United States.
  • Proven B2B sales experience with a successful track record of developing and closing business opportunities.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, vendors, and priorities simultaneously.
  • Native-level or fluent English communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a startup or fast-changing environment.
  • Experience presenting solutions to business leaders and decision makers.
  • Healthcare, insurance, medical coordination, or related industry experience is preferred.
  • Experience with CRM platforms such as HubSpot or similar is a plus.
  • Japanese language ability is welcomed but not required.
  • Cross-border business experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the U.S. launch and execution of a new healthcare coordination platform.
  • Coordinate the development of the website, CRM, payment systems, and other operational infrastructure.
  • Build referral programs and relationships with healthcare providers and partner organizations.
  • Plan and conduct informational seminars, webinars, and customer outreach initiatives.
  • Guide patients throughout the service process, including consultation, treatment coordination, travel arrangements, and follow-up.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer experience through continuous feedback.
  • Develop and grow B2B partnerships with employers, healthcare providers, and insurance organizations.
  • Execute sales presentations and negotiate partnership agreements.
  • Plan and implement marketing initiatives including digital content, webinars, trade shows, and industry events.
  • Monitor sales and marketing KPIs and recommend continuous improvements.
  • Develop operational workflows and coordinate with international partners.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors including travel agencies, interpreters, and insurance providers.
  • Collaborate closely with executive leadership and international teams to support business growth.
  • May be assigned other duties by management as business needs require.
