Title:BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Salary: $11,000~130,000+ Bonus

Location: Santa Clara, CA

Work Style: Hybrid (3 days in office) 8:30~17:30

Language: Japanese and English

Position Responsibilities:

  • First interface point for Semiconductor and Automotive field companies.
  • Build up a relationship and communicate with existing customers, provide initial technical data required as well as commercial information and continued support to maintain current business and expand potential business.
  • Interacting with the Connecticut factory, Japan and other factories regarding production, inventory checks, deliveries, and lead time management. Managing accounts receivable collection.
  • Convince technical, quality and commercial staff at target customers to initiate testing, qualifying, maintaining with Semiconductor and Automotive material technology by obtaining a technical support from an internal experts.
  • Provide technical, quality and commercial support via phone, email, and on-site to targeting customers.
  • Serves as single point of contact for current and prospective customers on commercial and technical items.
  • Communicate market and customer-specific information to global colleagues in structured, actionable fashion with clear, actionable identification of opportunities, schedule, and next steps.
  • Support customer onsite visit, conference call along with solo, overseas site members & local staff
  • Frequent Travel outside of town including overseas travel possibly. (around 8-10 days a month in States)
  • Bi-weekly Budget review & entry thru an internal system.
  • Sample arrangement and booking thru an internal system & email.
  • Weekly or Bi-weekly review, report and meeting as Sales Team 

Qualifications

  • Demonstrates comfort and skill in conversing in chemical terminology and being able to explain how our technology relates to product/application performance.
  • Experience working with materials at Semiconductor or automotive field
  • Experienced in meeting with prospective customers on solo basis.
  • Experienced in presenting technical presentations at customers where the audience is technical,
  • Experience in Market Development, Technical Sales
  • Experience working in a matrix organization in worldwide base.
  • Education — BS degree in Electronic device engineering, or who has that knowledge of technology; or exceptional candidate with technical BS degree that has proven track record of market development success.
  • Japanese bilingual
