HR Generalist / HR Manager (Bilingual Japanese/English)

A Japanese company is seeking an experienced bilingual HR professional to manage a broad range of HR operations, including employee relations, payroll, benefits, insurance administration, safety, government reporting, and performance management.

Key Responsibilities

• Employee and labor relations
• Payroll and benefits administration
• Insurance enrollment and management
• Government reporting and HR compliance
• Workplace safety-related responsibilities
• Expatriate payroll, onboarding, and ongoing support
• Coordination and reporting with headquarters in Japan
• Performance evaluation support

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of HR experience
• HR experience within an organization of 100+ employees
• Hands-on experience with government reporting, payroll, benefits, and insurance
• Experience working for a Japanese company
• Business-level Japanese and English
