About the Role

The Accounting Manager will oversee accounting and finance operations for the Canadian entity. This role is responsible for financial reporting, cash flow management, compliance, and day-to-day accounting activities while serving as a key liaison between the Canadian operation and global headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting, including AP, AR, payroll, general ledger, and month-end/year-end processes
• Prepare, analyze, and present monthly and annual financial statements and management reports
• Monitor cash flow and support budgeting and forecasting activities
• Manage banking activities, electronic payments, and trade finance transactions
• Ensure compliance with Canadian accounting standards and tax regulations
• Support audits and coordinate with external accounting and tax advisors
• Develop and improve internal financial controls and procedures
• Communicate regularly with headquarters regarding financial reporting and business performance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA designation (completed or in progress) preferred
• 5+ years of accounting or finance experience
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP Business One experience is an asset
• Strong understanding of Canadian accounting practices and tax regulations
• Professional proficiency in both Korean and English
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
