A Japanese restaurant is seeking a Food Safety & Quality Specialist to support food safety, sanitation, and allergen management programs across restaurant operations. This role will conduct restaurant audits, ensure compliance with food safety regulations, provide employee training, and support health department inspections.
Responsibilities
Conduct food safety and sanitation audits at restaurant locations.
Monitor compliance with HACCP principles and health department regulations.
Lead allergen management and cross-contamination prevention programs.
Investigate food safety complaints and implement corrective actions.
Support restaurant teams during inspections and compliance reviews.
Develop and deliver food safety and sanitation training.
Partner with operations teams to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
3+ years of food safety, quality assurance, or restaurant compliance experience.
Knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations.
Experience with restaurant audits and health inspections.
