Junior Sales Representative – Japanese Speaking

Location: Mississauga, Ontario

Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (Hybrid: 4 days in office / 1 day WFH)

Pay: $50,000 – $60,000 annually + Full Benefits

About the Role

The Junior Sales Representative position provides sales and account support within a fast-paced international logistics environment. This role works closely with Corporate Account Managers to support Japanese corporate clients, coordinate customer requests, and assist with day-to-day account management activities.

The position also collaborates with customer service and operations teams to help ensure smooth shipment coordination and high levels of customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining client relationships, supporting account growth, and assisting with logistics-related coordination and follow-up activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support sales activities and maintain relationships with existing Japanese corporate clients
  • Communicate with clients, overseas partners, and internal teams regarding shipment coordination and service-related inquiries
  • Coordinate with customer service and operations teams to ensure smooth and timely shipment handling
  • Assist with quotations, account documentation, and customer support activities
  • Monitor shipment status and support issue resolution to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Maintain customer records, reports, and account information within internal systems
  • Participate in customer meetings and support follow-up activities as needed
  • Support various account management and administrative activities related to international logistics

Requirements

  • Bilingual in English and Japanese
  • Valid Ontario driver’s license required; own vehicle preferred
  • 1–3 years of related experience in international logistics, freight forwarding, import/export operations, or supply chain coordination preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with clients and internal teams
  • Highly motivated with a willingness to learn and grow within the logistics industry
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
