Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Program Support
- Coordinate registrations and communications for educational programs and certifications
- Support course operations, instructors, and exam administration
- Prepare classrooms and materials for training programs and events
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and internal documentation
- Respond professionally to inquiries via email and phone
- Perform general administrative and clerical duties
Event & Marketing Support
- Assist with planning and hosting sake-related events, tastings, and educational programs
- Update and maintain websites, newsletters, and social media platforms
- Edit training materials, textbooks, and PowerPoint presentations
- Support promotional activities and community engagement efforts
Logistics & Office Operations
- Coordinate shipments, supply orders, and sample preparation
- Assist with inventory tracking and light bookkeeping tasks
- Operate office equipment and support day-to-day office functions
- Collaborate with team members to improve workflow efficiency
Qualifications
Required
- Business-level English communication skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of administrative, office support, customer service, or related experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and manage deadlines effectively
- Positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude
Preferred
- Business-level Japanese language skills
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Experience with WordPress, QuickBooks, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams
- Interest or knowledge in Japanese food, beverage, or sake culture
Additional Information
- Some evening or weekend attendance may be required for special events and company functions
- Employees will be expected to complete Sake Adviser and Sake Sommelier certification courses within one year of employment
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs
