We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and deliver accurate, timely financial reporting within a manufacturing environment. This role plays a key part in month-end close, cost analysis, inventory accounting, payroll entries, and audit support, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
General ledger management, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close
Preparation of financial, operational, and ad hoc management reports
Bank and cash reconciliations, wire transfers, and cash analysis
Cost accounting activities including standard cost updates, utilities reporting, and cost-down calculations
Payroll journal entries, accruals, and labor analysis
Fixed asset accounting and reconciliation
Inventory accounting, physical inventory support, variance analysis, and PPV
Audit preparation and year-end close support
Sales tax, state tax, and regulatory reporting
Support AR/AP and treasury functions as needed
May be assigned other duties by managers
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
5–7 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment (cost accounting)
Strong Excel skills; proficiency in Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality
Collaborative mindset with strong attention to detail
