A leading water solutions company is seeking a Senior Designer to support engineering teams in developing project documentation related to process and equipment design. This role will contribute to innovative water treatment and industrial equipment projects while ensuring quality standards are maintained throughout project execution. The Senior Designer will also serve as a technical resource for both internal and external stakeholders on design-related matters.

Salary: $80,000 – $90,000 annually

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, Day Shift

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree in a technical field preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of water treatment or industrial equipment design experience, including skid or plant piping layout
  • Minimum 3 years of SolidWorks experience required
  • Strong understanding of process and equipment design documentation
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time

Responsibilities

  • Review sales proposals, estimates, customer specifications, and project requirements to prepare engineering drawings and designs
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate representation of equipment sizing, functionality, and process design
  • Create Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) including hydraulics, chemical feed systems, electrical components, and related details
  • Develop General Arrangement Drawings to communicate critical design information to customers and project teams
  • Prepare fabrication, installation, and assembly drawings for internal production teams and external contractors
  • Ensure manufactured equipment conforms to project specifications and design standards
  • Support Purchasing in qualifying new suppliers
  • Assist with the development of new standard product offerings
  • Maintain company quality standards throughout project execution
  • May be assigned other duties by managers
