Mechanical Service Engineer

This role requires frequent travel (approximately 50–75%, primarily field-based) to customer sites across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and occasionally Japan; Spanish language skills are a plus.

Position Summary

The Service Engineer is responsible for installing, repairing, and troubleshooting high-precision machine tools and related equipment. This role also supports the sales team by providing technical expertise and assisting customers with product-related inquiries.

$55K–$75K + overtime pay

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot machine issues and product-related problems
• Travel to customer sites for installation and preventive maintenance
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve technical issues
• Analyze problems and determine appropriate solutions
• Support the sales team with product demonstrations and technical information
• Prepare and share service reports after customer visits

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
