Sales Manager – Packaging / Food Industry (Bilingual Japanese/English)

About the Role

We are looking for a driven and strategic Sales Manager to lead business growth in the U.S. packaging sector. This role is ideal for a hands-on sales leader who enjoys building client relationships, identifying new market opportunities, and driving revenue through both strategy and execution.

You will play a key role in shaping sales direction, expanding market presence, and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver impactful business results.

What You’ll Do

🔹 Drive Sales & Business Growth

  • Develop and execute short-, mid-, and long-term sales strategies
  • Identify and capture new market opportunities
  • Analyze sales performance and optimize strategies to maximize profitability
  • Build sustainable business models for long-term revenue growth

🔹 Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients
  • Conduct regular client visits (in-person & virtual)
  • Deliver proposals, pricing, and tailored solutions
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention

🔹 Operational & Team Leadership

  • Manage sales operations including forecasting, budgeting, and reporting
  • Oversee inventory levels and order fulfillment processes
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align sales and product strategies
  • Support and guide junior team members

🔹 Strategic & Analytical Responsibilities

  • Monitor market trends and competitive landscape
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Track performance against targets and drive continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of sales experience in Packaging and/or Food Industry
  • Strong track record of achieving sales targets and growing accounts
  • Experience in B2B sales and client-facing roles
  • Ability to think strategically while executing tactically
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Language:

  • Business-level English required
  • Japanese (business level) highly preferred

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
