A growing manufacturing company seeks a Japanese Bilingual Administrative Assistant in their Plainview Office.

Salary range: $50K – 70K (DOE)

About the Role

A company in a professional corporate environment is seeking a highly organized Administrative Support Specialist to support Japanese-speaking employees, visiting business partners, and internal administrative operations. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable handling a wide range of coordination, reporting, and office support responsibilities in a multicultural setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to Japanese-speaking staff and internal teams
  • Handle data entry and maintain accurate records, including inventory transfer processing and return-related documentation
  • Organize, file, and maintain documents required for internal audits and compliance reviews
  • Maintain and update master data in the ERP system, including product details and employee information
  • Support tax filing-related administrative work and other back-office processes
  • Set up and prepare newly purchased computers for onboarding new employees
  • Compile, analyze, and prepare sales reports and other internal business data
  • Coordinate transportation, scheduling, and logistics for visitors from Japan
  • Assist with the coordination and production of promotional and marketing materials
  • Manage outgoing mail, courier arrangements, and shipping activities
  • Prepare and coordinate shipment of materials and supplies for trade shows and events

Required Qualifications

  • Expert-level Japanese language ability
  • Business-level English communication skills
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
  • Strong communication and coordination skills in a multicultural office environment
  • Ability to work onsite in a professional office setting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using ERP systems
  • Strong Excel skills, including data handling and reporting
  • Analytical ability with experience compiling and reviewing business data
