Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Sales Associate to grow and support business within an assigned territory. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building strong customer relationships, being out in the field, and driving sales growth through thoughtful service and strategic execution. Success in this position comes from understanding customer needs, delivering tailored solutions, and maintaining consistent communication to achieve both short- and long-term sales goals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Travel within assigned territory to support existing and prospective customers
  • Build and maintain strong business, social, and civic relationships to maximize territory profitability
  • Execute territory sales plans and pricing strategies as directed
  • Identify growth opportunities by anticipating customer needs and proposing solutions
  • Communicate new product opportunities and customer feedback to internal teams
  • Coordinate with operations and logistics to ensure smooth product delivery and service
  • Partner with accounting to support timely accounts receivable collection
  • Assist leadership in establishing territory sales objectives
  • Submit regular sales activity and performance reports
  • Participate in quarterly inventory counts
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1–2 years of sales experience in the Asian food industry preferred
  • Bilingual Chinese and English required
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel regularly within territory
  • Ability to learn ERP systems (Oracle preferred)
