Project Coordinator – Japanese Bilingual

Pay range: $18/hour

Employment Status: Non-Exempt, Full-time

Location: Long Beach, CA | 100% Onsite

Job Summary

A Japanese company is seeking a bilingual (Japanese/English) Project Coordinator to support project management and daily operations. Depending on experience, the role may focus on Project Management, Sales Support, or Customer Support. This position works closely with internal teams, the Japan headquarters, and customers to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery.

A structured training and handover period will be provided by an experienced team member.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain regular communication with existing clients via email and online meetings
  • Prepare business documents and enter data into internal systems (quotations, orders, invoices, inventory, project details, etc.)
  • Coordinate with manufacturing teams on scheduling, samples, and deliveries
  • Manage timelines and overall progress for new and existing projects
  • Support sales and customer service–related operations as needed

Qualifications

  • Bilingual in Japanese and English
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Professional business manners and a positive, flexible attitude
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver’s license required
